Private and picturesque 480 sq. ft log cabin is the only dwelling on our privately owned lake. This is part of our parcel of 85 acres of woods. streams. meadows. and even a gorge! Located in the northern portion of Dutchess County in the beautiful Hudson Valley we are close to the historic towns and mansions of Rhinebeck. Hyde Park. and Millbrook and only 2 hours from mid-town Manhattan.



The cabin has a large living room with stone fireplace. large picture window overlooking the covered front porch and lake. a queen sized (new)sofa bed. and dining table. There is a kitchen equipped with all that's necessary to cook a full meal (microwave. stove top. toaster oven. all utensils. etc.) as well as an outdoor gas grill and also a charcoal BBQ if you prefer. We also offer a fresh herb garden (in season)



The covered front porch has cushioned furniture and 2 very comfortable hanging rope chairs. There is a very large outdoor picnic table as well as 2 large hammocks and many chairs hanging from trees near the cabin as well as "regular" chairs scattered about. Another picnic table and chairs are located near the dock at lake's edge. We use the steps at the end of the dock to get into the lake for a cooling off swim! A rowboat is available for your use. There are some marked hiking trails with benches scattered along the trails as well as unmarked terrain for the more adventurous. Outdoor lighting is extensive if you desire it. We pefer the stars and moonlight reflecting off the lake!

Check-in anytime after 3:00 PM on Friday and depart by NOON the following Friday. Payment in full is required 4 weeks prior to arrival.
